Accessory diagnosis lead for vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system VAS 5051B Knürr or VAS 5051B Rawotec.
The new diagnosis lead VAS 5051B/1 supports all diagnosis protocols (diagnosis via COM lead, CAN and J1850) and
includes the power supply of the diagnosis tester from the vehicle (test drive).
Technical data
Since 01.01.2004, the regulations concerning electrical safety have become much stricter.
It is no longer permitted to run a diagnosis lead from the vehicle to the tester without fuse protection.
So-called multi-fuses (reversible) are therefore installed in the diagnosis lead connectors on the vehicle side.
These fuses prevent damage from excessive currents that could result, for example, from defective diagnosis leads (short circuit from squashed cables in vehicle door).

fulfils the regulations that came into power from 01.01.2004 with regards to EN and UL.
